Inner Circle Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Hoop Shop Inner Circle.
The Inner Circle is our community ambassador program created to bring together people who share a genuine love for hooping, creativity, movement, and The Hoop Shop. Our goal is to build meaningful, long-term relationships with our members while giving them opportunities to earn commission, share their creativity, receive recognition, and grow alongside our community.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the guidelines for participating in The Hoop Shop Inner Circle (“Inner Circle” or “Program”).
By applying to, joining, or participating in the Inner Circle, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Participation in the Inner Circle is by application and approval.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Hoop Shop may review applications based on factors including an applicant’s connection to the hooping community, content, creativity, engagement, alignment with our values, and overall fit with the Inner Circle.
Members must provide accurate and current information when applying and while participating in the Program.
If a member is under 18 years of age, participation may require the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Our Community
The Inner Circle is intended to be more than a traditional affiliate program. We want it to be a welcoming community built around creativity, encouragement, self-expression, and a shared passion for hooping.
We encourage members to support one another, interact respectfully with the wider hooping community, and represent themselves authentically.
Being an Inner Circle member does not require you to change your personality, style, creative direction, or voice to match The Hoop Shop.
We want you to be you.
3. Inner Circle Benefits
Depending on availability and the member’s participation in the Program, Inner Circle members may receive benefits such as:
- A personalized referral link and/or discount code.
- 10% commission on eligible referral sales.
- Opportunities to be featured on The Hoop Shop website and social media.
- Opportunities to submit photos, videos, and other content for The Hoop Shop to share.
- Recognition within The Hoop Shop community.
- Access to Inner Circle communications, opportunities, announcements, or special offers.
- Opportunities to provide feedback about products and the Inner Circle community.
- Potential early access to new products, launches, or other opportunities.
Certain benefits or opportunities may change over time and are not guaranteed to every member.
4. Referral Commission
Inner Circle members receive a 10% commission on eligible referral sales made through their assigned affiliate link or coupon code.
For a sale to qualify for commission, the order must be successfully attributed to the member through the tracking methods used by our Inner Circle platform.
Commission is generally calculated using the eligible merchandise value of an order after discounts and does not include amounts such as shipping charges, taxes, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, or other non-product charges unless otherwise stated by The Hoop Shop.
Orders that are canceled, refunded, returned, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid may not qualify for commission. If commission has already been credited for an order that later becomes ineligible, the corresponding commission may be deducted from the member’s balance or a future payment.
Members may view available referral and commission information through their Inner Circle account when this functionality is available.
5. Commission Payments
Commission payments are subject to the payment methods, schedules, minimum payout requirements, and other administrative requirements communicated through the Inner Circle platform or directly by The Hoop Shop.
Members are responsible for providing accurate payment information and completing any information or documentation reasonably required for payment.
Members are responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, or other financial obligations resulting from commission they receive through the Program.
6. Personal Purchases and Referral Codes
Referral links and coupon codes are intended primarily to introduce new and existing customers to The Hoop Shop through a member’s genuine recommendations.
Members may not manipulate the Program or create artificial transactions for the purpose of generating commission.
The Hoop Shop may exclude transactions that reasonably appear to involve fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate orders, unauthorized coupon distribution, or other activity inconsistent with the purpose of the Inner Circle.
7. Sharing Your Content With Us
One of our favorite parts of the Inner Circle is celebrating the people who make our community special.
Members may choose to share photographs, videos, testimonials, stories, tutorials, social media posts, or other creative content with The Hoop Shop.
By submitting content directly to The Hoop Shop for promotional use, or otherwise clearly giving us permission to share it, you grant The Hoop Shop a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, display, repost, share, and promote that content through our website, social media accounts, emails, and other marketing channels.
You continue to own your original content.
Whenever reasonably practical, we may credit or tag the member associated with the content.
By submitting content, you confirm that you created the content or otherwise have the necessary rights and permissions to allow The Hoop Shop to use it.
8. Featuring Inner Circle Members
We want customers and other hoopers to meet the real people behind our Inner Circle.
Members may have opportunities to be featured on our website, social media, email marketing, or other community content.
A feature may include information voluntarily provided by the member, such as their:
- Name or preferred display name.
- Photograph.
- Social media username.
- Short biography.
- Hooping story.
- Creative interests.
- Photos or videos.
Participation in member spotlights or similar features is voluntary.
9. Social Media and Promotion
Members are welcome to share their Inner Circle link or coupon code through appropriate channels, including social media, websites, videos, blogs, and direct recommendations.
Members should promote The Hoop Shop in a genuine and respectful manner.
Members should not engage in spam, misleading advertising, false claims, harassment, impersonation, or other promotional practices that could harm customers, other members, The Hoop Shop, or the wider hooping community.
Members may not represent themselves as an employee, owner, legal representative, or official spokesperson for The Hoop Shop.
10. Affiliate Disclosure
Inner Circle members are responsible for clearly disclosing their relationship with The Hoop Shop whenever required by applicable advertising, consumer protection, endorsement, or similar laws and regulations.
When promoting products through an affiliate link or coupon code, members should make it clear that they may earn commission from qualifying purchases.
For example, a member may use language such as “The Hoop Shop Inner Circle member,” “affiliate link,” “I may earn commission from purchases,” or another clear disclosure appropriate for the platform.
Disclosures should be easy for viewers to notice and understand.
11. Honest Recommendations
We want Inner Circle members to share genuine experiences.
Members are never required to provide a positive review or make statements about a product that they do not genuinely believe.
Any opinions, reviews, testimonials, or product experiences shared by a member should reflect that member’s honest experience.
Members should not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unsupported claims about The Hoop Shop or its products.
12. The Hoop Shop Name and Brand
Inner Circle members may identify themselves as members of The Hoop Shop Inner Circle and may use approved promotional materials that we provide for purposes related to the Program.
The Hoop Shop name, logos, product names, photographs, graphics, trademarks, and other brand materials remain the property of The Hoop Shop or their respective owners.
Membership in the Inner Circle does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to a member.
Members may not create accounts, websites, business names, advertisements, or other materials that falsely appear to be operated or officially owned by The Hoop Shop.
13. Paid Advertising and Coupon Promotion
Unless The Hoop Shop provides written permission, members may not purchase paid search advertisements or other advertising using “The Hoop Shop,” our product names, trademarks, or confusingly similar terms as advertising keywords.
Members may not publish their Inner Circle coupon code on coupon aggregation, coupon scraping, or deal websites without permission from The Hoop Shop.
Organic sharing through a member’s own social media, website, content, or personal community is encouraged.
14. Products, Gifts, and Special Opportunities
From time to time, The Hoop Shop may choose to provide certain Inner Circle members with products, discounts, samples, early access, giveaways, or other opportunities.
Unless specifically promised in writing, these opportunities are discretionary and are not guaranteed as part of Inner Circle membership.
Receiving a product or other benefit does not require a member to provide a positive review.
Members should appropriately disclose free or discounted products when required by applicable law or platform rules.
15. Respecting Our Community
We want the Inner Circle to remain welcoming, supportive, and inclusive.
Members are expected to interact respectfully with other Inner Circle members, The Hoop Shop customers, our team, and the broader community.
Harassment, bullying, threats, intentionally harmful conduct, discrimination, fraudulent behavior, or conduct that seriously conflicts with the values or safety of our community may result in removal from the Program.
16. Independent Relationship
Participation in the Inner Circle does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise, agency relationship, or other formal business partnership between a member and The Hoop Shop.
Inner Circle members participate as independent ambassadors and are responsible for deciding when, where, and how they create and share their content, subject to these Terms.
Members are not authorized to enter into agreements or make commitments on behalf of The Hoop Shop.
17. Program Changes
We want the Inner Circle to grow alongside our community.
The Hoop Shop may occasionally modify the Program, including its benefits, commission structure, eligibility requirements, promotional opportunities, technology, or these Terms.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Inner Circle account, email, our website, or another reasonable method.
Continued participation after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Leaving the Inner Circle
Inner Circle members may choose to leave the Program at any time.
If you would like to leave, please contact The Hoop Shop and we will assist you with closing your Inner Circle membership.
Any eligible commission earned before leaving the Program will remain subject to these Terms and the applicable payout requirements.
19. Removal From the Program
The Hoop Shop reserves the right to suspend or end an Inner Circle membership when reasonably necessary, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, misuse of referral links or coupon codes, harmful conduct, prolonged misuse of the Program, or activity that could reasonably harm The Hoop Shop or its community.
We hope that most concerns can be handled through a conversation first, and whenever appropriate, we may contact a member before taking action.
Serious misconduct, fraud, illegal activity, or circumstances requiring immediate action may result in suspension or removal without advance notice.
20. Availability of the Program
The Hoop Shop does not guarantee that the Inner Circle, its website, account portal, tracking technology, referral links, coupon codes, or individual Program features will always be available or operate without interruption.
We may modify, pause, or discontinue all or part of the Inner Circle when reasonably necessary.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Hoop Shop will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from participation in the Inner Circle, use or inability to use Program technology, loss of expected commission, or interruption of the Program.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms and participation in the Inner Circle will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Privacy
Information collected through the Inner Circle may be used to administer memberships, track referrals, calculate commissions, process payments, communicate with members, promote participating members when permission has been provided, prevent fraud, and operate the Program.
Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with The Hoop Shop’s applicable Privacy Policy.

25. Acceptance of These Terms
By applying for, joining, or continuing to participate in The Hoop Shop Inner Circle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We’re grateful to have passionate people who want to grow alongside The Hoop Shop.
The Inner Circle is about more than sharing a link—it’s about sharing creativity, supporting one another, and helping bring a little more love and light into the hooping community.
